Memory Walk

Hey all. I was on the internet this evening and I came across a site that I know affects so many of us out there, so I wanted to pass it on to you all as well.
Team Captainis the site that discusses the nationwide memory walk for Alzheimer's Disease.
What I am talking about is Alzheimer's Disease and the Memory Walks that are going on nationwide. There is one scheduled in my area that my family and I plan to partake in in October, the 13th to be exact. A great uncle of mine passed away two years ago from Alzheimers and I know the toll it takes on the family, especially those very close to the loved one. It is heartbreaking to see their memory slowly disappear and become someone you do not know anymore. It is especially difficult when they no longer recgonize you. Alzheimer'sAssociation is the site to check out to learn more about this disease. I know as I said how difficult it is on the family. Those of you interested in signing up for the memory walk in your area, please be sure to sign up early. It will be a beautiful time of year to get out and walk for a great cause and raise some money and increase awareness about the disease. Please sign up, you may even be interested in becoming a team captain as well. So much good can be accomplished if we all just get out and walk for a great cause. Even if you do not know anyone suffering from this terrible disease, I urge you to get out and walk in the Memory Walk. So many people need your support and help. Do it for them. What a great cause. Hope to see you at your local Memory Walk. Check out the site and locate the Memory Walk nearest to your area.
