Now that everyone is talking about this whole "interactive search personalization", Wikiasari and social search, Sproose are, believe it or not, working on a modeal where the user can interact with the ranking of search results. Sproose has constructed its own index which allows each user to rank the websites they have visited, or not visited. The score of 1 means it's not too impressive and the score of 5 means it's GREAT! After the user votes, the search result will react to the 1-5 ranking and immediately change based on the score given to each individual site. This allows for each user to create a personal index of their favorite sites when they search a keyword. Then the score that a specific user gives a site is weighted as a group score for all users to partake in, making this site truly democratic. Clearly this is an awesome site. Instead of using link popularity to determine the ranking, Sproose allows for the USERS to determine the popularity of a site! Check out the Sproose home page NOW!!!
