Hi all. Well tomorrow is Dec 1st. The start of holiday baking. I am trying to decide what cookies to bake for the season. Looking through some cookbooks should help. Iwill let you know if any sound really yummy.

THANKSGIVING FEED-back!
How did you guys enjoy your Thanksgiving dinners? I know my daughter's one friend has lasagna on Thanksgiving instead of turkey, which I find very odd. I like the traditional turkey and stuffing deal. How about you guys?

DAY AFTER T-DAY.
Today is Black Friday, which is one of my favorite days of the year. We all eat leftovers & get up VERY early (leaving the house by 5AM) to go shopping. All of my sisters come with my daughters and I, and we always have a good time. We met at Starbucks this year!

I LOVE TURKEY!
The mock dinner was a success. Which reminds me of a time when my Mother was cooking Thanksgiving dinner a while back. She was taking the beautiful and huge turkey out of the oven, and dropped it on her foot. Not only did she burn her foot and the floor horribly, but her foot ended up being broken and we had to spend our Thanksgiving at the hospital. Happy Thanksgiving! Hah.

Mmm. Turkey.
So Thanksgiving is coming up, and I always make a mock-thanksgiving dinner a few weeks before. It's always fun and we all eat and get dressed up in pilgrim and indian costumes. But the indians always have to get sick at the end, you know, because the white man killed off so many indians and all.

Another Recipe.
My sister gave me another recipe today, but it's actually for humans! HAha. I'm making it right now and it smells DELICIOUSLY. I like watching Rachel Ray because she makes a lot of good eats that I enjoy trying out. Sometimes I make them right along with her.

Whoops.
The guy in the car ended up being really hurt, they took him to the hospital and he drifted into a coma. It's unfortunate what drinking and driving does to people. Anyway, I was looking in the newspaper today, and he DIED. So ... I made some cookies to feel better about being mad at him.

Chicken Soup for the Driver's Soul.
SO I was making soup earlier today, and all of a sudden I heard a "CRASH, BOOM" outside. I ran to the window and what to my wondering eyes did I see, but a man had hit the tree outside our house. Car smashed. Tree OK. Good thing too, it's a nice tree. I think he got arrested though, my hubby took care of it!
