Oh MOTHER.

I took my Mother shopping after all. She is absolutely crazy when she gets out of her house. She manages to buy one quart of milk every two weeks and about 4 gallons of iced tea. What a healthy gal. Oh and I can't forget that she stocks up on that candy!!! (claiming the grandchildren want it....yeah, OK!).

It's Raining, It's Pouring.

The rain always makes me really want to eat some liver, how about you guys? You crave anything when it rains? I hope it's going to rain tomorrow too, my Mother called about going shopping today, but without looking out the window she knew it was raining (arthritus). We're going tomorrow though :-\.

HAHAHA.

I confronted my older sister, Clarice, about the Chicken... Turns out it was supposed to be for the dog. Ha Ha Ha. I have a dog named Turkey, my youngest son named her that, after his favorite food. Turkey. She's a German Shepherd-Chihuahua mix. What an awkward dog, eh?

Chicken=Boo.

The Chicken Ala Mode was a flop. I don't know HOW she could manage to digest that. I think I tossed every last bit down the toilet! :-P. Speaking of toilets, I think the chicken clogged ours, time to call the plumber!

Older sisters.

Today I got a recipe from my older sister. We are a lot alike, so I'm sure I'll enjoy it. We never used to get along when I was younger, but now we're like two peas in a pod. I can't wait to try out chicken ala mode!

Different Foods for Different Seasons.

I have lately noticed that depending on what season it is, we tend to crave different foods. For example, since it's starting to get cold out, everyone wants soups and ovenstuffers, while in the summer we have cookouts almost every evening!
